How to use Sage

Sage won't just give you the answer. It helps you work it out.

Steps

  1. Make your account

    Start here. Under 16? A parent says yes first.

  2. Ask anything

    Sage explains it simply, then checks you've got it.

  3. Snap your homework

    Tap the paperclip and take a photo. Sage helps you understand it. It won't do it for you.

  4. Test yourself

    Tap Test me. Have a go first, then ask for a hint if you're stuck.

How hints work

  1. A small nudge.
  2. A bigger clue.
  3. A worked example.
  4. Your question step by step, except the last step. That one's yours.

Questions

Will Sage do my homework?

No. It helps you work it out yourself.

Can Sage help with my CBA or coursework?

It can help you plan, but it won't write any of it. If you use AI while planning, say so: the SEC requires it.

Does Sage give grades?

No.

Is Sage a real person?

No. Sage is an AI and can make mistakes.

What if something is worrying me?

Sage is not a counselling service. Talk to an adult you trust. Helplines are at the bottom of every page.

Can I use Sage on my phone?
